Guangdong confirms 1 new case from the Philippines

Guangdong reported 1 new imported case in Shenzhen on March 14th. The patient arrived in Shenzhen after taking a flight from the Philippines to Hong Kong, according to the Health Commission of Guangdong Province.
The patient, surnamed Sun, a Chinese male, has been working in the Philippines since July 2019, and previously lived in Nanshan District. He took flight CX902 from Manila on the afternoon of March 13th, and arrived at Hong Kong International Airport at 22:20 (Beijing time).
Sun showed no abnormalities during the temperature check (36。9℃)。 He himself reported having been in contact with a COVID-19 patient, and then was quarantined for medical observation at Shenzhen Bay port。 Sun tested positive for COVID-19 on March 14th and has been transferred to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment。
Six people who were found to have close contact with Sun on the Chinese mainland have all been quarantined for medical observation. Among them, five tested negative and one is still waiting for test result. All of them show no abnormalities.
